At first i read it modestly... trying to give the book a chance, then as the story goes on, i cant help but wanting... wanting to know what was going to happen next... as i turned each page, tracing each word gently with my perfectly manicured finger, empathy took over me... every emotion i experienced after that came from the book, fear, despair, panic... every sentence, i visualise with excruciating detail... the decaying corpse, the blood drenched streets, the torn flesh and the blood curtling screams... the images were played in my mind, i was reading a book yet i was also watching movie except, it was in my mind~ oh the horror, people ripped apart limb from limb, their living flesh torn from their faces by the dead's teeth, their guts gnawed at... the irony of the book is, that the dead are seeking out those who loved them in life and those they left behind and it is those loved ones that dead feast on~ the idea of you getting eaten by the person you loved is very disturbing yet somehow poetic in a way~ SOULLESS grabs you by the throat and doesn't let you go until the very last page, if your imagination is stronger than you'd imagine, then i suggest you read it with the light on...
